Your First Visit to St Asaph Family Chiropractic Clinic

Most chiropractic patient look forward to visiting their chiropractor because they know they will be listened to and they will move better, stand straighter and feel better after treatment.

Upon Arrival

At St Asaph Chiropractic Clinic, the emphasis is on making things as relaxing and informative as possible. You will be greeted by a friendly receptionist who will make you comfortable and help you fill out a new patient registration form. You will then be called in for a private consultation with our expert chiropractor, Mr Steven Massey.

Your Chiropractic Consultation

Your consultation is undertaken in the strictest confidence. As a chiropractor, Mr Massey will ask various questions about your medical history, including any illnesses or accidents, as well as family medical problems.

He will then perform a series of orthopaedic, physiotherapy, osteopath, chiropractic and neurological examinations, focussing on your joints, nerves and muscles and, occasionally, areas such as the abdomen, heart or lungs.

From these results, your chiropractor will decide whether any further medical investigations, such as X-rays, are necessary prior to commencing treatment. Occasionally, he may need to contact your GP – your permission will be sought for this.

Your Chiropractic Management plan

Your chiropractor will discuss his findings in detail with you, including:

The results of your physiotherapist and osteopath tests

The cause of your symptoms

What can be done to remedy them

What treatment is required and the cost

Estimated time to recovery

At St Family Asaph Chiropractic Clinic, you get a tailored management plan specific to your needs. As well as your chiropractic, osteopath and physiotherapy influenced treatments, it may include suggestions on changes to your diet and/or lifestyle, and simple home exercises to optimize your recovery. Your chiropractor will also offer advice on how to avoid problems in the future.

Whether you come from Abergele, Rhyl, Rhuddlan, Prestatyn or Denbigh, wherever you live in North Wales, from Denbighshire to Flintshire, you are guaranteed high quality chiropractic treatment at St Asaph Family Chiropractic Clinic.

Chiropractic is the art and science practiced by chiropractors. In many ways chiropractic is similar to physiotherapy and osteopathy as practiced by physiotherapists and osteopaths. Although there is much debate about the difference between Chiropractors and Osteopaths, in reality their approaches have much in common. Physiotherapists who manipulate are also similar to Chiropractors and Osteopaths.
